An additional 514 coronavirus cases have been reported by the state health department Sunday. This brings the state total to 87,403 cases.

The state health department also confirmed two new COVID-19 deaths, bringing Michigan's death toll to 6,249 as of Sunday.

Sunday's reported death toll was reduced by one death as three previously reported COVID-19 deaths were corrected by local health officials. According to the state health department, the reason for this revision is either due to further information that concluded the death was not COVID-19 related or the death was erroneously reported.

Two new deaths were reported Sunday and three were revised, resulting in a decrease in Michigan's death toll by one.
