Some of Brazoria County’s largest employers are waiting for more information before they decide how to proceed under the pending federal mandate that all their workers be vaccinated against COVID-19, company representatives said.

Among those with a wait-and-see approach are BASF and Ineos, while Chevron Phillips Chemical and Dow Chemical are strongly encouraging employees get vaccinated before the government’s mandate rules are finalized.
