Tuscarawas County Fair livestock auction brings in $1.2 million
DOVER — The sale total for the 2021 market livestock auction at the Tuscarawas County Fair Thursday was $1.2 million — more than $500,000 more than the total of last year's auction.
Fair board president Reb Billman said the total was "amazing" and thanked the residents of Tuscarawas County.
"The support for the kids is fantastic," he said Friday.
"We had a few more animals this year, but the price across the board stayed so steady through all the species. It just seemed like we didn't have enough animals to meet the demand."
