Here's the daily lineup for Lollapalooza 2019 in Chicago; single-day tickets on sale

The Lollapalooza 2019 daily lineup is here, and the Chicago mega-festival is saving the best for last.
Top-of-the-bill headliner Ariana Grande will be closing out the four-day festival in Grant Park, running Aug. 1 to 4, practically guaranteeing a major final-day attendance boost compared with a weak turn-out on the last day last year for headliners Jack White and Odesza.
The fest's opening night headliner lineup is less enticing — the Strokes and Chainsmokers – with recent Coachella headliners Childish Gambino and Tame Impala going head-to-head on Friday, Aug. 2.
Saturday's headliners include J. Balvin – the first Lollapalooza headliner whose songs are almost exclusively in Spanish — and Twenty One Pilots, who had a crowd size that rivaled Paul McCartney the last time they played Lolla in 2015.
Other highlights by day include:
- Thursday, Aug. 1: Hozier; H.E.R.; Lauren Daigle; Normani; Hayley Kiyoko; Saba
- Friday, Aug. 2: Janelle Monae, 21 Savage, Maggie Rogers, Tierra Whack
- Saturday, Aug. 3: Lil Wayne, Gary Clark, Jr.; Tenacious D; Fantastic Negrito
- Sunday, Aug. 4: Kacey Musgraves; Meek Mill; Rosalia, Mitski
Single-day tickets are also on sale at lollapalooza.com, starting at $130.
But sales have been slow for four-day general admission passes, which went on sale three weeks ago for $340 (before fees).
Those passes were gone in eight days last year, which was quite the slowdown from previous years, when they were scooped up in as little as an hour in 2016, and before the lineup was even announced in 2014 and 2015, according to the Chicago Tribune.
