WEST MIDDLESEX, Pennsylvania (MyValleyTributes) – Linda Hoover of West Middlesex, formerly of Clark, passed away after a brief illness on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at home. She was 76.

Linda was born June 3, 1944, in Sharon to Raymond and Jane Hopkins Dunham.

A graduate of Hickory High School, Linda was a florist and owned the former Thomas Floral in Sharon. She later worked as a buffet attendant at Eat’n Park, Hermitage.

Linda attended West Middlesex United Methodist Church and formerly belonged to Clark Volunteer Fire Department’s ladies auxiliary.

Surviving are three sons, Thomas Hoover of Sharpsville, Donald (Tammy) Hoover, Jr. of Mercer and Carl Hoover, with whom she lived in West Middlesex and his fiancée, Cyndi Selby; a daughter, Sara (Brian) Creager of Cumming, Georgia; two brothers, Clarence (Beth) Dunham and Raymond (Carol) Dunham, of Hermitage and six grandchildren, Carl Hoover, Jr., whom she helped to raise, Kristie and Ashley Hoover, Ethan and Mason Creager and Nicholas Selby. She also leaves behind her beloved boxer, Brodie.

Visitation will be held Friday, September 18, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at John Flynn Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2630 East State Street in Hermitage. Funeral service will begin at 7:00 in the funeral home chapel.
