OVI checkpoint set for Saturday night in Belmont County

BELMONT COUNTY, OHio — The Ohio State Highway Patrol is conducting an OVI checkpoint Saturday night.

The location has not yet been announced, but the goal is to deter and intercept impaired drivers.

Last year, over 630 OVI-related fatal crashes took place in Ohio, in which 685 people were killed.
