BEAVER, Pennsylvania (MyValleyTributes) – Alan J. Hoffman, Beaver, Pennsylvania, formerly of Sharon, died at 5:12 a.m. Saturday, September 14, 2019, in Heritage Valley Beaver Hospital after an extended illness. He was 60.
Alan was born November 9, 1958, a son of Edward Hoffman and Mary Lois Melhorn Hoffman.
He graduated from Hickory High School in 1977 and worked most of his life in construction.
Alan enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling and was a John Wayne fan.
He is survived by two sons, Alan J. Hoffman II of West Middlesex and Timothy D. Hoffman of California; two sisters, Pamela Winkler and her husband, William, of Hermitage and Sherie Taylor and her husband, Bryon, of Swanton, Ohio; four brothers, David Hoffman and his wife, Maxine, of Washington, Timothy Hoffman of Hermitage, Randy Hoffman and his wife, Kathryn, of Mercer and Rick Hoffman of Farrell and three grandchildren.
Alan was preceded in death by his parents; a nephew, Noah Hoffman and a grandnephew, Ethan Taylor.
