September will be marking the beginning of the highly anticipated Season of Light in Pokemon Go, which will be making a plethora of changes to the game.

After a successful season ending with the Go Fest Finale, Niantic seems to have in store some more exciting stuff for fans. The next season will be kicking off in style with a Special Research focused on the Nebula Pokémon, Cosmog. Throughout the course of the season, players will be periodically getting quests related to the Special Research which will award them with a plethora of rewards. But that's not all. There are bonuses, new Pokemon, and a lot more to look forward to in the season. Here is all you need to know.

Season of Light Bonuses

As with every season, we have a number of bonuses that players will be getting when it kicks off. It is quite crucial that you keep a note of these bonuses as these can help you get some rewards that can help you throughout the course of the game. Here are the bonuses for this Season.

  • Extra Stardust from Gifts
  • Increased damage for Pokémon participating in raids remotely

The Go Battle League Season 12

This iteration of the Go Battle League focuses on Guzma, as players will be encountering the various Pokemon he uses as they level up in the tournament. Along with that, there is also a Go Battle Day dedicated to Guzma which will award players with the Guzma Avatar Item Set. Here are the rewards for each rank.
