Milwaukee police: Video shows suspect fleeing scene

Milwaukee police Tuesday released new evidence they believe will help catch a killer. Two cars were heavily damaged in a crash near Teutonia and Keefe avenues just before midnight on Aug. 28. They’d apparently hit each other head-on. Witnesses told police a man from each car got out, began a heated argument, and at one point, one of them pulled out a gun and shot the other. Joseph Bogan, 42, was critically injured and died two days later. Police released surveillance video from a neighboring backyard they say shows the suspect leaving the scene on foot. He wanders through a nearby yard before walking away on the sidewalk. On the video, a woman's voice can be heard screaming. Police said they believe he was still armed with the handgun as he left the scene. Anyone with information is asked to call Milwaukee police. Callers could be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000 and can remain anonymous through Crimestoppers. Their number is 414-224-8477.
