Sweetgreen's menu offers a variety of salads and warm bowls.

Sweetgreen salad restaurant will make its Indiana debut this week, opening Sept. 13 with an expanded menu at The Fashion Mall at Keystone, 8702 Keystone Crossing.

Sweetgreen's standard menu includes core and seasonal salads — made with ingredients such as roasted Brussels sprouts, roasted corn and cauliflower — as well as warm bowls and sides.

The Keystone store will open with a piloted kids menu and dinner plates. One new plate features roasted steelhead trout with hot, roasted sweet potatoes, kale cabbage slaw, warm wild rice and a miso sesame ginger dressing. Others are built around roasted chicken.

It’s the only store outside of the Minneapolis market with the test items.

The California-based chain has more than 140 restaurants nationwide.

The 2,347 square-foot Keystone space seats 30 diners inside. An outdoor patio accommodates up to 48.

Another Sweetgreen is opening soon at The Ardmore, a mixed-use development at 157 E. New York St., in downtown Indianapolis. A store is planned for Fishers, later this year, as well.

The Keystone store will operate Monday through Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
