Prep Follow-up: Pleasant Grove

LAST WEEK: Pleasant Grove fell to Shreveport Byrd, 34-7.

THIS WEEK: The Hawks are home for the first time, hosting Midland Christian.

OFFENSIVE STANDOUTS: Spencer Danner rushed 10 times for 48 yard, Torian Phillips had a 44-yard reception, and Ahkari Johnson completed 2-of-12 passes for 54 yards with an interception.

DEFENSIVE STANDOUTS: Coy Martin and Landon West paced the Hawk defense with nine tackles apiece, with Martin making two stops behind the line of scrimmage. Ty Boozer, Jaymon Wheeler, Ezra Youngblood and Vic Shaw each had eight tackles, Eddie Tank contributed seven stops, and Kaden McFadden and Corban Franklin added five apiece, with McFadden causing and recovering a fumble along with his two tackles for a loss.
