"The charges relate to the death of Khayri McLean, who died after he was stabbed in Woodhouse Hill, Huddersfield, last Wednesday."

A teacher frantically performed CPR in a bid to save the 15-year-old after the attack but Khayri tragically died after being rushed to hospital.

Floral tributes continued to be left at the scene on Friday, with candles and bottles of Yazoo milkshake also placed near the spot where he died.

Khayri's mum Marcia came to the spot where he died yesterday, knelt down on the floor and was visibly completely overcome by emotion, Good Morning Britain reported.

While his girlfriend Shyana James revealed her "heart shattered" when she heard he died and called him a "really nice boy".

She revealed the pair's final call just a minute before his death saying Khayri had been on his way home to change clothes and then meet her when he was attacked.

Her mum Sherrin, 35, said the pair were "literally inseparable", adding: "He was her first proper boyfriend. She absolutely adored him and he absolutely adored her."

Mum Marcia McLean was being comforted by family and friends at her semi-detached home in Bradley Boulevard, an eight-minute walk from where Khayri was stabbed.

Friends and classmates also paid tribute to Khayri, while his headteacher released a statement following the tragedy.
