Discount retailer to hold grand opening in Peoria. Here's what to know, how to grab swag

Ollie's Bargain Outlet is holding the grand opening for its first Peoria location on Thursday, Sept. 15.

The store, which is located at 4100 W. Willow Knolls Drive, will open at 9 a.m.

The first 500 people to sign up for Ollie's Army will receive a free tote bag, according to a flyer released by the company. Customers signed up for Ollie's Army, a loyalty program, can receive discounts on products, points for shopping and more.

The flyer also stated that customers will be able to find brand names such as Bissell, Clorox, Hasbro and Yankee Candle, and save as much as 70% when compared to other retailers.

Until 2019, the location housed Burlington Coat Factory. Ollie's is filling 31,500 square feet of the 70,000-square-foot space. Store hours are listed as 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Sunday.
