North American International Auto Show

People crowd around different models of the 2024 Ford Mustang after it debuts during the 2022 North American International Auto Show held at Hart Plaza in downtown Detroit on Wed., Sept. 14, 2022.

The Detroit auto show was a winter tradition for decades until organizers decided to shift the massive car convention to later summer. After a two-year pandemic hiatus, that vision of a summer show with outdoor elements is finally a reality, and the attractions sprawl outside Huntington Place and into Hart Plaza.
