If you find yourself in the Philadelphia area this weekend then here’s your chance to cuddle with kittens while supporting a good cause.
Philadelphia Brewing Company is hosting its annual “Kegs for Cats,” an event with kitten cuddling, silent auction bidding, bites and brews on Sunday, Sept. 18 from 1 - 4 p.m. ET at the Kensington location.
The event’s proceeds will go to Mac’s Fund, a nonprofit dedicated to sheltering cats around the Philly area. “Kegs for Cats” will also be in support of Morris Animal Refuge, which is regarded as America’s first animal shelter.
“Philadelphia Brewing Company is a longtime supporter of organizations that focus on the well-being of furry friends, including Morris Animal Refuge and Mac’s Fund,” the press release stated.
The event will also feature an appearance from Steve Morrison of WMMR’s “Preston & Steve” show.
Potential participants can buy tickets here, while other cat lovers who can’t make it to the event can still donate online here.
