Fargo's Hector International Airport invites flyers to enroll in security pre-check program

Under the program, identified low-risk air travelers can avoid having to remove things like shoes, liquids, laptops, light outerwear, and belts.

FARGO — Fargo's Hector International Airport is inviting passengers to enroll in what is known as the TSA PreCheck program for expedited pre-flight screening.

Under the program, identified low-risk air travelers can avoid having to remove things like shoes, liquids, laptops, light outerwear, and belts.

To participate, travelers should follow these steps to pre-enroll:

To access the application page, visit: www. universalenroll.dhs.gov
• Click “Start Application Now”, then click “New Enrollment”
• Fill out steps and choose “Next” at the bottom of each screen
• Type in your location at Zip code/City/Airport Code box — search
• Choose location “Pop Up: FAR, 9/26-9/30” and click “Next”
• Select your desired appointment time (Please note your appointment time; no reminders will be sent out)

Currently, TSA PreCheck has more than 450 lanes at more than 200 U.S. airports.
