Exes Kartik Aryan and Sara Ali Khan come together at an event - here's what happened

Exes Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan came together under one roof on Saturday night at an awards event. The actors were the cynosure of all attention as they were seen seated at the same table chatting up with each other. Kartik bagged Best Actor for his performance in 'Dhamaka' and Sara won Breakthrough Performance of the Year award for 'Atrangi Re'.The two cheered and applauded for each other at the event and a video of them went viral on the internet. Fans of the actors are liking how the ex lovers are being friendly even after their breakup.
This is not the first time that Kartik and Sara crossed paths at an award show. Earlier this year, the two posed together for the paparazzi at another award show.

Karan Johar had recently confirmed that Sara was dating Kartik when she appeared on 'Koffee With Karan'. “Last time you were on this couch, you made a public announcement that you wanted to date Kartik Aaryan and that did happen," he said to which Sara replied, ‘Yeah’.
In an interview with Film Companion, Kartik reacted to Sara's confession. When he was confronted about lying about his relationship status in his previous interviews, he said, “Mai pichle sava saal se single hoon, baaki mujhe kuch nahi pataa (I have been single since the past 1.25 years, I don’t know about anything else)."

Kartik and Sara had met while shooting for Imtiaz Ali’s 'Love Aaj Kal' but they reportedly broke up just before the film’s release. While Kartik claims to be single, Sara Ali Khan has been linked to cricketer Shubman Gill after she was spotted having dinner with him recently.
