As a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, I have been practicing for over 18-years and traditionally from a psychodynamic approach. However, over the years I have transitioned to a multifaceted approach incorporating a Psychodynamic modality with EMDR, Performance Psychology, and Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy (HCH). This integrated approach is a much deeper process of psychotherapy and is achieved through a relaxed state of consciousness. HCH embraces the concept of self-determination and the belief that every client contains, deep within their own subconscious mind, the key to their own individual health and healing.

My name is Jake Stowell, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist practicing in Costa Mesa, California at Journeys Counseling Ministry. My name is Taunya Taylor, and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Los Angeles, California, working with clients statewide via telehealth.
