How to Watch Meghan Markle's One Young World Summit Keynote Address

During her visit to Europe this week with Prince Harry, Meghan Markle will deliver a keynote speech on Monday at the One Young World Summit in Manchester, England, a charity with which she has had strong links since 2014.

One Young World is an organization that helps to develop and empower young leaders to build a fair and sustainable future. Each year at an annual summit, the charity gathers together young people and guest speakers to discuss and celebrate the shared vision of the organization, along with the delegate members who help to make this happen.

Meghan has been a counselor with One Young World since 2014, a year in which she took part in a number of panel discussions including a "Bridging the Gap" session which focused on gender equality, a cause Meghan has remained vocal in her support of since marrying into the royal family in 2018.

After her marriage Meghan attended the 2019 One Young World Summit at London's Royal Albert Hall where she took part in the opening ceremony, however she did not deliver an address in the style that she will do this year.

In addition to her address at the 2022 summit, Meghan, along with Prince Harry, will also take part in a meeting with delegates who continue to work towards gender equality. This continues on from a special roundtable discussion that the couple hosted at Windsor Castle following the 2019 summit, which included One Young World delegates among their number.

Speaking about her involvement with the charity, Meghan is quoted by the organization as saying: "When I was asked to be a Counsellor at One Young World my response was a resounding yes!

"One Young World invites young adults from all over the world who are actively working to transform the socio-political landscape by being the greater good.

"They are delegates who are speaking out against human rights violations, environmental crises, gender equality issues, discrimination and injustice. They are the change."

Meghan and Harry's attendance at the summit forms a part of a wider European visit which will also include an appearance at the 2022 WellChild Awards in Britain, a charity close to the couple's hearts of which Harry has been a patron since 2007, and a trip to Germany marking the one year way-point to the 2023 Invictus Games.
