One person injured in Lakeside stabbing
The stabbing was reported on Mapleview Street near Ashwood Street
Sheriff’s deputies were investigating after a 34-year-old man was stabbed and injured in Lakeside on Sunday night, a sheriff’s official said.
The attack was reported about 8:30 p.m. on Mapleview Street near Ashwood Street. When deputies arrived, they found the victim suffering from a stab wound in his apartment, Lt. Shawn Wray said.
The victim was taken to a hospital, where he underwent surgery. He was expected to survive, Wray said.
The lieutenant said the assailant escaped in an SUV: a silver Saturn Vue. A detailed description of the assailant was not available.
