Quarterback Brady Hammonds is more than grandson of Gatlinburg-Pittman legendary coach

Gatlinburg-Pittman’s football team trailed 14-0 at home in the first quarter against Loudon, the fourth game of the season. The last score came after junior quarterback Brady Hammonds threw an interception that was returned for a touchdown.

Tye Marshall, quarterbacks coach at Gatlinburg-Pittman, recalled the chaos bubbling from the team after the turnover. However, what was more memorable was how unfazed his quarterback was, and how it was an inflection point for Hammonds and the team.
