A Reading man accused of fatally shooting another man last weekend in Reading could be staying with family in nearby counties, authorities said Friday.

Police said Hill was involved in the killing of 38-year-old Jefferson Etienne  following a shooting in front of his residence in the 400 block of South 16th Street.

Hill and another Reading man have been charged with first- and third-degree murder and conspiracy. One of the suspects, Marc D. Lockman Jr., was found 10 minutes later in his home, suffering from a gunshot wound to his right hand, investigators said.

Police said two firearms involved in the shooting haven’t been recovered so Hill is considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information on Hill’s whereabouts is asked to call Reading police at 610-655-6432 or anonymously call the Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers at 1-800-4PA-TIPS (8477).
