Guests at Shanghai Disneyland in China lined up near the resort’s exit following its sudden closure in line with local COVID pandemic measures on Monday, October 31.

Footage posted on the Chinese social media platform Xiaohongshu shows guests at the park after nightfall lined up in groups by the exit.

Shanghai Disneyland announced around 12 pm on Monday that the park would be closed “in order to follow the requirement of pandemic prevention and control.”

Two new cases of COVID-19 were recorded in Shanghai on October 31, local authorities said on Weibo.
