A groundbreaking ceremony for Five Points Landing Park in Milford will take place Monday at 4 p.m.The ceremony will take place at 740 Center Street in Milford. The groundbreaking ceremony is for Phase I of the construction of the new park.According to the city of Milford, Five Points Landing Park will consist of an open entertainment area for outdoor concerts, public art, movies and theatre performances. Additionally, the park will feature a dog park, multiple splash fountains and several open greenspace areas for leisure activities.A news release about the groundbreaking ceremony also said that the park will include a farmer's market area, restroom and concession facilities and walking paths lined with flowers and trees.The park will have a large parking lot, as well as side street parking.
