Brick crash shuts down Burrsville Road on Friday night, police say

8:30 p.m. update: Burrsville Road has reopened.

BRICK - Burrsville Road between Jack Martin Boulevard and Burnt Tavern Road is expected to be closed for the next hour as police respond to a serious motor vehicle crash there, according to a department email alert to the public.

Motorists are asked to avoid the area, according to police.

Police sent out an an alert to the public just before 7:30 p.m. Friday.
