UPDATE: Sprinkle Road is open.
KALAMAZOO COUNTY, MI - Sprinkle Road is closed at I-94 Monday, Nov. 14, after power lines came down during a crash.
Police urged motorists to avoid the area.
Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Department said power lines are lying across the road and said the road is closed in all directions.
Police earlier reported that the collision closed the southern roundabout at I-94.
Police urged north-south traffic to use 35th Street to the east or Portage Road to the west.
For I-94 access, police advised motorists to use 35th Street to the east or Westnedge Avenue to the west. Motorists coming from the north can access eastbound I-94 on the I-94 business loop, police said.
