SEC announces 2022-23 men's basketball coaches' preseason teams

The SEC released the 2022-23 men’s basketball coaches’ preseason first and second teams on Wednesday.

The groupings consist of a minimum of eight players from each SEC team, voted on by coaches. A total of 36 players received votes, with multiple selections from Alabama, Auburn, Kentucky, and Tennessee.

The 2022-23 season begins Nov. 7, with conference play scheduled to begin Dec. 28. The 2023 SEC Tournament will be March 8-12 at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.
