United in heartbreak! Kelsea Ballerini, Kelly Clarkson and Carly Pearce team up to sing a girl power anthem at the CMA Awards... after recent divorces

Recent divorcees Kelsea Ballerini, Kelly Clarkson and Carly Pearce brought down the house with a powerful performance at the 56th annual CMA Awards on Wednesday.

While performing their collaborative single, You're Drunk, Go Home, the trio took to the stage to show the world their doing their 'our thing' and not tolerating unwanted advances from tipsy men.

'You're drunk, go home/If you're trying to hook up/Gotta do it alone,' the performers. 'The way you're slurring and the way you stumble/Ain't no way you're gonna get my number.'

They went on to urge any creeps to 'walk away' as none of them are 'looking for a one night rodeo' in the tongue-in-cheek track, off Ballerini's new album Subject to Change.

For the performance, Ballerini, 29, looked nothing short of sensational as she rocked a skintight denim minidress and thigh-high boots with a black and yellow flowers on them.

Similarly, Pearce, who filed for divorce from her husband, fellow country artist Michael Ray, in 2020 after eight months of marriage in 2020, seized the opportunity to show off her incredibly toned legs in a light blue romper with a giant bow.

Clarkson, who returned to the dating pool after splitting from Brandon Blackstock in June 2020 following seven years of marriage, rocked a denim dress and black leather belt.

While on stage, the women shimmed and smiled before taking a bow and exclaiming 'yee-haw' in unison.

While attending the red carpet of the CMA Awards, Ballerini's ex-husband Morgan Evans told Access that 'one of the hardest' aspects of going through a divorce 'is how lonely it feels.'

'I would have searched the whole world over for you, took a flight through the night to be that shoulder for you, and I would've let go if you wanted me to,' he croons.

'How many times did you say you loved me when it wasn't true?' he asks plaintively. 'I'm just wondering: how long has it been over for you?'

During his new interview he confessed the song was 'very personal and kinda heavy' but also shared how touched he was by the positive response to it.

He acknowledged it had 'been a rough few months in my life, and yeah, writing this song just, yeah, really helped me sort through a lot of that actually, and when I played it for the first time I Just played it because I needed to get it off my chest.'
