In October, the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office announced they were looking to question Richardson in the Oct. 28 killing of Don Antonio Flournoy, 58, of Fayetteville. Flournoy was shot shortly before 8 p.m. in the 2400 block of Elcar Drive and was pronounced dead at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, officials said.
On Tuesday, Cumberland County Sheriff's Sgt. Mickey Locklear declined to say what connection, if any, Richardson has to the Flournoy case.
Richardson remained in the Wayne County, Georgia, jail on Tuesday.
