Vigil held for man who was fatally shot in Lancaster
A vigil was held at Prince of Subs in Lancaster where 29-year-old Luis Sanchez was fatally shot on early Monday morning. The mother of Sanchez spoke to WGAL at the scene of the shooting.Amanda Brown said her son, Luis Sanchez, 29, was killed after being shot in the face, chest and leg in the vestibule of Prince of Subs restaurant on the 100 block of South Prince Street around 1:30 a.m. "Somebody wanted to take his life. That was my son. So, I don't think I'm ever going to be the same," Brown said.Sanchez was the father of two boys and was expecting a third in May. Brown said she wants justice for the killing."We want this person caught and to spend the rest of their lives behind bars," Brown said.Video below: Daylight video of fatal shooting scene.Police investigationIn a statement released later Monday morning, Lancaster Police said two people were shot in the incident. Both victims were transported to the hospital. One of them was pronounced deceased (police did not release any names). The other person was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.At this point, no arrests have been made and police have not named any suspects.There are surveillance cameras in the area of the shooting.
