New royalty crowned at Miss Ramona Pageant 2023
The highlight of the Miss Ramona Pageant 2023 was seeing the new Miss Ramona, Teen Miss Ramona and their princesses receiving their crowns.
The annual pageant was held Saturday evening at Mountain View Community Church in Ramona.
The new Miss Ramona is Francess Stromberg. She accepted her crown from the outgoing Miss Ramona 2022, Rachel Kelly.
The new Teen Miss Ramona is Caterina Filippone. She accepted her crown from outgoing Teen Miss Ramona 2022, Joanna Abarca.
Altogether, four contestants vied for the title of Miss Ramona. In addition to Stromberg, the Miss Ramona contestants were Emily Grothe, Collette Thomsen and Natalie Wrenn.
There were nine Teen Miss Ramona contestants. In addition to Filippone, they were Lauren Allen, Reagan Heimer, Brooklyn Johnson, Mary Jane Neifeld, Claire Odenwalder, Grayce Padilla, Coralyne Rorholm, and Keely Townley.
Categories being judged for both the Miss and Teen awards included speech and interview contests. Awards were also given for Miss Congeniality, Miss Photogenic, People’s Choice Award and Director’s Award.
