A man is dead after he was shot in Boston's South End neighborhood late Friday night, according to police.Boston police said the shooting happened shortly after 10:45 p.m. in the area of 9 Yarmouth Place.The victim, who has not been identified, was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and pronounced dead at the scene by Boston Emergency Medical Services personnel.A man who lives in the area told NewsCenter 5 that he heard four to five shots in the neighborhood.Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call Boston police homicide detectives at 617-343-4470.
