1 person injured in crash on 13th and Hines streets in Salem

One person was extracted from a car by the Salem Fire Department after hitting a utility pole Monday morning at the intersection of 13th and Hines streets SE in Salem.

A fire crew was at the scene around 7:30 a.m. The car was pinned against a utility pole by another vehicle involved in the crash.

Deputy Chief Brian Carrara said there was no information at this time about any other injuries.

Traffic around the scene of the crash appeared to be impacted.
