Gaylord Opryland Resort’s 39th annual A Country Christmas is underway and residents of Rutherford County and other select Middle Tennessee counties have access to two exclusive Nashville Nights promotions in December.

Rutherford County residents can participate in exclusive Nashville Nights promotions on Dec. 1 and Dec. 13 from 6 – 8 p.m. such as free hot chocolate, one free Reindeer Games™ Scavenger Hunt Featuring Rudolph and The Misfit Toys booklet per family and 50% off ICE! Tickets.

Designated Tennessee residents may also carol alongside the resort’s caroling quartet and former *NSYNC member Chris Kirkpatrick on Dec. 1 and 13 from 6:30 – 7 p.m.

Several Christmas and winter activities are available to families who visit including The Oak Ridge Boys “Christmas in Tennessee” Dinner Show open Nov. 23 – Dec. 25, Rudolph’s Holly Jolly Breakfast open through Dec. 31, Snowball Build and Blast and ice tubing, skating and bumper cars open through Jan. 1.

A longtime family favorite, ICE! returns for another year this time displaying the story of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer with scenes and sculptures reaching up to 30 ft in height carved from more than 2 million pounds of brightly colored ice blocks.

Other counties invited to participate are Davidson, Cheatham, Robertson, Rutherford, Sumner, Williamson and Wilson Counties.
