THAT’S UP NEARLY 500 CASES FROM TE WEEK BEFORE. THE NUMBER OF CASES HAS GONE UP THROUGHOUT NOVEMBER AND MORE PEOPLE ARE ALSO HOSPITALIZED FOR COVID. LATEST NUMBERS SHOW 234 PEOPLE ARE CURRENTLY IN THE HOSPITAL FOR THAT VIRUS.

The number of COVID-19 cases took a big jump in Iowa over the past week. New numbers released on Wednesday by state health officials show over 3,400 positive cases of COVID-19. That's up nearly 500 cases from the week before.The number of COVID-19 cases has been increasing throughout November. The number of patients hospitalized with COVID-19 is also up. The latest numbers show Iowa hospitals are currently treating 234 patients for COVID-19. That's an increase of nearly 100 patients since the beginning of the month.
