“A Midsummer Night’s Dream” returns to Shakespeare & Company next season, along with Shakespeare’s “The Contention (Henry VI, Part 2)” and August Wilson’s “Fences.” Additional titles for the theater’s 46th season will be announced in the New Year. For details: www.shakespeare.org.

“Come From Away,” the Broadway hit musical from Canada about the people from Gander, Newfoundland, who hosted thousands of stranded airline passengers after 9/11, comes to The Bushnell Dec. 20-24. The musical, which originally workshopped at Goodspeed, features book, music and lyrics by Irene Sankoff and David Hein, and just finished a successful Broadway run.
