We’ve done all the hard work for you and rounded up the best Black Friday rug sales across our favourite home and interior brands and online furniture stores. From Dunelm and La Redoute to John Lewis and Soho Home, the round rugs, runner rugs and jute rugs stocked at these retailers will have you channeling your inner interiors influencer. Sure, some of them are a little expensive, but thanks to the Black Friday discounts we’ve listed, you should be able to stretch your money a little further.
It’s no secret that we’re all trying to shop more sustainably, and the same is true when it comes to shopping furniture deals. It’s much harder to get rid of sofa beds, mattresses, coffee tables, and dining room tables than it is a bag of clothes. Hence why Black Friday is such a good time to shop for furniture and home accessories.
We've rounded up a selection of traditional rugs and contemporary styles that you'll love forever, which work just as well in living rooms as bedrooms, and that you'll be able to take with you when your lease comes to an end.

The John Lewis Black Friday sale is in full swing, with deals across womenswear, beauty, tech and, of course, plenty of home offers. As well as offering free delivery on orders over £50 and free Click & Collect over £30, there are hundreds of home furnishings and pieces of furniture discounted by up to 20%. With many rugs drastically reduced, we'll be bookmarking this Chindi vibrant, geometric print rug and seeing if the department store adds to its offers as we edge closer to Black Friday itself.
2. Soho Home rug deals
If you've ever stepped foot in any Soho House, you know it's the ultimate in interior goals. The brand's interior collection, Soho Home, includes furniture, lighting, tableware, and accessories created for and inspired by the Houses, so anyone can recreate the look in their own abode.
If you can afford it, that is. Soho Home pieces have a luxury price tag to match the luxury aesthetic. Luckily, this Black Friday, the brand is offering 20% off all full-price items while members can receive 25% off. Top of our wishlist? This hand-knotted vintage-style Indian rug. If you've been tempted by a Soho Friends membership, now might just be the time to sign up to enjoy the additional benefits all year round and make the most of the bigger discount.
3. H&M Home rug deals
H&M has officially dropped its Black Friday 2022 sale and you can get 20% off everything - as long as you're a member. It's quick and easy to sign up though, simply enter your email address, log in, and gain access to thousands of deals. Discounts are automatically applied at the checkout. We're heading straight to the homeware section to make the most of the savings.
4. Oliver Bonas rug deals
Another homeware favourite we're eagerly waiting on is Oliver Bonas. We've already bookmarked this super cute scalloped edge rug. Last year, there was 40% off everything from gifts to homeware to clothing. The brand has already teased shoppers ahead of this year's Black Friday sales. OB account holders will be the first to find out about Black Friday discounts *and* they'll get early access to shop the sale too. We'd recommend creating an account pronto as you'll also receive £5 credit to spend on your next order.
5. Wayfair rug deals
When it comes to sales, Wayfair is known for offering generous discounts - the iconic Way Day sale, anyone?! This Black Friday is no exception, as the online retailer is giving customers early access to its Black Friday sale, with thousands of deals to be had across sofas, mirrors, coffee tables and more. Obviously, we headed straight to the rug sale. With designs in every shape, size and colour, we were immediately captured by this handwoven rug made from natural materials.
6. La Redoute rug deals
Last year, La Redoute Black Friday offered up to 50% off everything on-site, and the online furniture store is doing the exact same thing this year. With an up-to-50%-off sale already live on-site, the retailer is promising the very best home deals. And for a limited time only, shoppers can get an extra 10% off with the code EXTRA10. Take this as your sign to invest in a large area rug to achieve the ultimate French style for your home.
7. Amara rug deals
Luxury homeware and online furniture retailer Amara is currently running a Christmas shopping event with up to 50% off elected brands. While this isn't exactly a Black Friday sale, it may be worth taking advantage of the deals across furniture, home accessories, and Christmas decorations too. We won't be waiting around and are using the early sale as an opportunity to snap up in this animal print statement rug.
8. Cox & Cox rug deals
Cox & Cox kickstarted its aptly-named Grey Friday sale at practically the beginning of November, with various discounts offered throughout the days. As Black Friday edges ever nearer, the brand is currently running an up to 50% off sale sitewide, with an extra 10% off with the code EXTRA10. While we've already added this simple yet stylish monochrome rug to the basket, we're holding off in case we can get a bigger discount as stock prices are set to be reduced by up to 70% until the 28th of November.
9. Very.co.uk rug deals
Black Friday deals have already landed at Very, with the retailer offering discounts across thousands of products in almost every department. When it comes to its rug offers, there are savings to be had of £173, saving customers considerably.
10. Dunelm rug deals
Dunelm gave its newsletter subscribers early access to all of its Black Friday offers before they officially launched, but if you missed the boat don't worry as the Dunelm Black Friday deals are now live on site for everyone. With discounts across kitchenware, dining sets, chairs and mattresses, we headed straight to the rug section. This faux fur rug at 50% off has been added to basket.
11. M&S rug deals
While M&S doesn't officially run any Black Friday promotions, the retailer has dropped a huge sale the very same weekend as Cyber weekend for the past four years running and here's hoping this year will make it 5 in a row! M&S' full range of furniture and homeware accessories are often included in these sales, usually discounted by at least 20% over the big weekend. And while a discount would certainly be welcome, this sheepskin rug, available in 6 colourways, won't break the bank if the high street favourite chooses to go low-key this year.
12. The White Company rug deals
Renowned for its luxury bedding, super popular candles, and stylish nightwear, The White Company is running its White Weekend sale again for Black Friday this year. Shoppers can get 20% off the brand's entire product range, including homeware, clothing, gifts and fragrance, throughout Cyber Weekend with the code MAGIC20. We're already imagining curling up on this super cosy pure wool rug.
13. Ruggable rug deals
Ruggable rugs are a game changer. If you're unfamiliar, all of the brand's rugs (and doormats and bathmats) are machine-washable, water-resistant, stain-resistant and non-slip. We told you, a game changer. Not just practical, they're also incredibly stylish, and Ruggable has collaborated on collections with Iris Apfel, Disney, and Jonathan Adler. While the US brand currently has no dedicated or permanent sale section online, it is offering a limited-time discount for Black Friday. Customers can get 20% off sitewide, and 25% off rugs. Some exclusions apply but luckily this Jonathan Adler Op Art Teal Rug that we've got our eye on is included.
14. Urban Outfitters rug deals
Though you might think of Urban Outfitters as primarily a clothing brand, it's a great place for gifts as well as vintage-inspired homeware. And for the retailer's Black Friday sale they are discounting thousands of lines by up to 50%. Last year, they held the same deal but added an extra 20% on Cyber Monday so it may be worth holding out til then if you really want to score a big saving.
15. Zara Home rug deals
One of the few brands waiting to kick off Black Friday until the day itself, Zara has at least announced its planned discounts and we are finalising our shopping lists as we speak. With 20% off on selected items, customers can already preview exactly what items are included. While the discount won't go live until 11:00pm the evening before Black Friday, if you download the Zara app you can get access to the Black Friday sale one whole hour early.
16. Kukoon Rugs rug deals
Dedicated rug retailer, Kukoon Rugs, stock a whole host of rugs in various colours, sizes, and styles. And for Black Friday 2022 the website has a dedicated section for all the rugs included in the Black Friday rug sale. But they're not stopping there. With the code BFVIP customers can get an additional 30% off Black Friday label rugs. That's everything already listed in the Black Friday rug sale only, including this grey tribal rug made from 100% recycled cotton.
17. Anthropologie rug deals
We've got our Anthropologie Black Friday wish list at the ready, and unsurprisingly the brand's recent collaboration with Matilda Goad is right at the top. While a lot of the exclusive collection was quick to sell out, there has been a restock of select items, including this colourful scalloped edge rug. This year, Anthropologie is discounting almost everything by 30% off. While the blanket discount doesn't apply to furniture, rugs are included!
18. French Connection rug deals
Just as it did last year, French Connection is offering customers 30% off everything in store and online, including its women's, men's and home collections. While the French Connection Black Friday 2021 sale saw that discount increase to 50% off on Cyber Monday, we have yet to see if they'll do the same again this year but here's hoping! If you can't wait, snap up this Poppy Field pink and grey runner now.
19. Amazon rug deals
The Amazon Black Friday sale might not be the first place you’d think to look for a stylish rug, but don’t rule it out. While the official sale has yet to kick off, the online retailer has already rolled out a few discounts. If you're willing to take the time to sift through the thousands of products on-site, we guarantee you can find a real gem at a great price.
20. Fy! rug deals
Probably best known for their selection of art prints, Fy! also stocks furniture, lighting, home accessories, and - you guessed it, rugs. The retailer's ‘Black Fy!day’ sale (see what they did there?!) has discounted everything on site by up to 60%. There's no need to enter a code as discounts have already been applied across the site, though some exclusions may apply.
21. Sklum rug deals
Online furniture store Sklum is run by a group of friends all inspired by art. Stocking a fairly affordable range of sofas, home accessories and more, they also have a great rug selection. This Black Friday, Sklum is offering up to 60% off almost everything on site. Plus, for orders over £299, customers can enter the code BLACKWEEKSKL10 for an extra 10% off their entire order. Top of our wish list? This chic and simple cotton rug with green and yellow colour accents, perfect for the minimal home.
