The Ararat Shriners are hosting the third annual Festival of Trees at Independence Center.
"Not everyone has the ability to get to and from doctor's appointments," said Mick Owens, chairman of the Ararat Festival of Trees.
The event helps raise money to help transport families fighting diseases to the health care providers they need.
"Sometimes the kids have to go to hospitals that are quite distanced," Owens said.
The Ararat Shriners' third annual Festival of Trees event features more than two dozen, specifically themed Christmas trees.
A ticket dropped in a box could win you one.
"They all touch my heart because of the amount of giving that's involved in them," Owens said.
Some of the trees are valued as high as $3,800.
"You get the tree, the decorations and everything associated with it," Owens said.
The Festival of Trees is open the next three weekends until Dec. 10, when they draw for the Christmas trees.
