Universal Orlando is adding a way to guarantee a bead-tossing position in its Mardi Gras parade and combining it with a meal next year. The Mardi Gras Float Ride and Dine debuts in February.

Participants will be part of Universal Studios theme park’s Mardi Gras festivities after a three-course meal at one of four restaurants: Finnegan’s Bar and Grill or Lombard’s Seafood inside the park as well as Cowfish Sushi Burger Bar and NBC Sports Grill and Brew at Universal CityWalk.

The package includes an appetizer, an entree, a dessert and a nonalcoholic beverage for $64.99 per person. The float reservation and the meal are on the same day. Reservations can be made by calling 407-224-7554. Annual and seasonal passholders are eligible for a 15% discount upon purchase.

The experience will be offered on select nights during Universal’s Mardi Gras event, which runs Feb. 4-April 16. Festivities beyond the parade include kiosks serving international fare inspired by Carnaval celebrations and live concerts on select nights. (The musical lineup has not yet been revealed.)

The parade and concerts are included with regular Universal Studios admission.
