Jae from DAY6 has clarified his comments after criticising his label.

The guitarist tweeted to express his frustration at JYP Entertainment as he felt they were not promoting his solo activities.

However he tweeted later that ‘there were a lot of misunderstandings’ and apologised to the fandom My Day for ‘causing you concern’.

Jae said that it was ‘a personal matter between the company and me’.

Fans began to trend the hashtag #JUSTICEFORJAE to show the K-pop star their support.

Replying to a tweet from the official DAY6 Twitter account earlier on Tuesday that posted a project from his band mate Young K, Jae said: ‘Why don’t you repost my dive stuff?’

In a further tweet written in Korean, Jae added that he was ‘barely able to get permission’ to launch his own YouTube channel and ‘felt like I was walking on eggshells’.

He went on: ‘I did everything by myself but ended up having to put an end to “jaesix” because I was told, “People at the company don’t view it favorably.”

‘But why is a different member able to happily do that with the managers creating a schedule, and the company providing funds for content, as well as other help?’

DAY6, a K-pop rock group, is made up of Jae, Young K, Wonpil, Dowoon and Sungjin.

They debuted under JYP Entertainment in 2015.

The Sweet Chaos group came back with the album The Book Of Us: Demon earlier this year.

Jae has also released solo music under the moniker eaJ.
