DETROIT, MI - Eminem recently completed a successful five-city European tour and will reportedly perform more shows in 2014.

The Herald Sun of Australia reported this week Slim Shady will play shows in Australia in February and March.

This newspaper's website reported that Paul Dainty, a show promoter, "is set to announce a run of stadium dates, including a concert at Docklands, where Eminem performed two years ago."

It's unclear if Eminem will perform any U.S. dates anytime soon. He performed last month in New York City during G-Shock watches "Shock the World" event.

An excerpt from the Herald Sun report that mentions Eminem's preference to do a solo tour:

Concert industry sources say Soundwave Festival, which is hosting headliners Green Day, Stone Temple Pilots and Korn in February and March, was "invited to get involved" in negotiations. But Soundwave withdrew its offer when it became clear Eminem preferred to do a solo tour, and not festivals.

Eminem's new album, "The Marshall Mathers LP 2," is expected to be released Nov. 5.

The website Radio.com speculates that Eminem could go one of five ways with his new album.

Eminem released last week a new song called "Berzerk" that could reportedly sell up to 400,000 copies during its first week and earn the song a high digital sales ranking on Billboard's "Hot 100" charts.

Sales figures for the "Hot 100" are expected to be released sometime Wednesday on Billboard's website.
