Long before meeting Prince Harry, Meghan Markle was a successful actress with a career that catapulted her to global stardom.

Before giving up acting to join the royal family, Meghan was the star of the hit legal drama Suits as well as starring roles in blockbusters Remember Me and Horrible Bosses. The Duchess of Sussex also used to run her lifestyle blog, The Tig, where she connected with fans to share travel tips, her favourite recipes, and general life advice.

Now Meghan's old acting CV has re-emerged from when she was believed to be about 24. It lists a slew of skills she had perfected for her craft, including becoming a trained dancer, speaking multiple languages, and kickboxing.

The CV details the roles she has starred in so far, listing an appearance on General Hospital and a small part as 'Hot Chick' in Ashton Kutcher's romantic comedy flick A Lot Like Love.

She also details her theatre roles as well including the part of July/Star to Be in Annie and a role in Richard Harris's 1984 play Stepping Out, reports The Mirror.

Adding to her skills, Meghan unveils she is a trained dancer skilled in ballet, jazz, and tap dancing, as well as experience in musical theatre. The CV details she is fluent in Spanish and proficient in French.

Meghan's skillset was put to the test after scoring the role of Rachel Zane on Suits, as her personal trainer recalled putting her through her paces for the show.

Jorge Blanco told Vanity Fair Spain he trained Meghan in kickboxing and martial arts while she filmed the show.

"I trained Meghan when she was in Toronto during the shooting of the series 'Suits'. We did a little bit of martial arts, a little boxing, and sometimes kickboxing," he said.

"I never really thought she could end up being a princess! I had a great time training with her because she's super nice and speaks Spanish, with an Argentine accent."

After her relationship with Prince Harry became serious, Meghan quit her acting career for a life of royal service. However, a close friend of the royal family revealed that the late Queen would have been happy for the starlet to continue acting.

In his book Elizabeth: An Intimate Portrait, Gyles Brandreth said the late Monarch did "everything she could" to ensure Meghan's happiness.

He writes: "She did everything she could to make her future granddaughter-in-law feel welcome. She was concerned for her future happiness. At their first meeting, the Queen said to Meghan: 'You can carry on being an actress if you like – that’s your profession, after all.'

"But Meghan was ready for royal duty and, of course, the Queen was delighted by that. She was particularly delighted by the enthusiasm Meghan showed for the Commonwealth and the commitment she made to the Queen to do 'whatever you think we should be doing for the Commonwealth'.

"She promised the Queen that when it came to the Commonwealth she wouldn’t let Her Majesty down. The Queen liked Meghan and told lots of people so."
