5 hospitalized after crash in northwest Phoenix

Five people were taken to the hospital, including three in critical condition, after a two-vehicle crash in northwest Phoenix early Saturday, according to information from the fire department.

A man and two women were taken to the hospital in critical condition, while a man and a woman were hospitalized in stable condition after firefighters responded to the crash at the intersection of 43rd and Cactus avenues, the agency said.

Police are now investigating, the fire department said.
