RIHNO search warrant Friday in Adrian cracks drug, property theft ring

ADRIAN — A search warrant executed Friday in Adrian by the Region of Irish Hills Narcotics Office resulted in the seizure of a number of stolen items, drugs and firearms.

RIHNO detectives served a search warrant in the 1000 and 1100 blocks of East Michigan Street in Adrian, according to a news release. The Michigan State Police Emergency Support Team conducted the initial entry and secured the property.

Through the search warrant, detectives seized narcotics, firearms and stolen vehicles and property. Multiple suspects were arrested and numerous felony charges will be sought from the Lenawee County Prosecutor’s Office. The investigation is ongoing.

Friday’s seizure was a combined effort with the Michigan State Police Aviation Unit, the MSP K-9 Unit, the Monroe and Jackson posts of the Michigan State Police, the Lenawee County Sheriff’s Office, the Adrian Police Department and the Madison Township Fire Department, who assisted in the investigation.
