Retailers are kicking off the week of Jan. 23 with a boatload of deals on home products — with floor-cleaning gadgets, kitchen appliances, and home security systems leading the pack. But those aren't the only deals worth shopping. Those in the market for tech, fitness equipment, subscriptions, and even tax software can find a deal to suit their needs today as well.

Why we like it

Amazon Prime members, listen up: Your membership perks don't stop at free two-day delivery and Amazon Prime Video access. As of Jan. 23, you can secure a free year of Grubhub+ (a $119.88 value) as a member and get $20 off your order with the code COZY20 through Feb. 14. You'll have to activate Grubhub+ through your Prime account in order to get the deal, but the process is pretty simple. After your initial 12-month free period, your Grubhub+ membership will auto-renew at $9.99 per month until you cancel.

If you're in the market for a new tablet and you're not very picky, the 2020 Fire HD 8 Plus is on sale for half-price — knocking its $109.99 price tag down to just $54.99. That's on par with its all-time low Prime Day pricing. The 2020 version is no longer the newest Fire HD 8 Plus tablet on the market — that title would go to the 2022 model, which is also on sale for $99.99 (reg. $119.99). But it's still a solid budget-friendly pick for Amazon devotees looking for a pure streaming and Kindle machine. It doesn't exactly play well with third-party apps, according to Mashable tech reporter Alex Perry, but it still performs respectably if you rely on Amazon for literature, entertainment, and retail. Plus, at $55, it's hard to complain.
