Today, Summer Camp Music Festival has expanded its programming to include an on-the-road series, which will function as a competitive search across the Midwest and beyond for the greatest local artists. As a prize, the winner will receive an opportunity to perform at Summer Camp Music Festival 2023, which will occur from May 26 through 28 in Chillicothe, Ill.

Summer Camp: On The Road Tour, co-presented by Relix Magazine, will begin in The Centennial State with mid-January stops in Boulder, Colo., on Jan. 13, followed by a trip to Denver the following day. Then, the search will head to Music City before moving to Ann Arbor, Mich., on Feb. 3. 

As the tour progresses, additional stops will be made throughout the Midwestern region of the United States during February and March. Along the way, stops will continue in states such as Missouri, Kentucky, Ohio, West Virginia and Indiana. Then, the final events will occur on March 31 and April 1 in Chicago.

In each city, fans will be encouraged to vote on their favorite musical act, automatically entering them in a drawing to win a 3-Day General Admission pass to Summer Camp Music Festival. One winner will be selected per show, contacted in the weeks following the event, and will receive the opportunity to perform at Summer Camp Music Festival 2023.
