FORT WORTH, Texas — A new music festival will be taking over the Fort Worth Stockyards this March, and it could be a big opportunity for people in the music industry.

The Fort Worth Music Festival and Conference will take place from March 2-4. In addition to live performances, there will be networking opportunities and workshops for aspiring promoters, managers, and Texas-based artists.

The conference will also have panel discussions and keynote speakers featuring well-established executives from the music industry. Speakers include artist Radney Foster, booking agent Henry Glasscock from WME, promoter/attorney Martha Taylor, and experienced artist manager Eddie Kloesel

As of Jan 12., panelist names haven't been released yet.

“Our vision is to celebrate the musical heritage and history of the Stockyards and to create an experience that unites this landmark district in the heart of Texas,” said festival co-producer Tim Love. “The Stockyards is home to so many iconic venues, it couldn’t be a better time to showcase the destination through the lens of live music.”

The conference will extend across several venues in the Stockyards, including Tannahill’s Tavern & Music Hall, Tannahill’s Tavern Lounge, White Elephant, Atico Restaurant and Lounge, Love Shack, The Barn @ The Drover, and more.

Event passes will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 13 via Ticketmaster. The passes will provide access to all conference events and performances.

For the festival portion, you can expect performances from Max Stalling, Graycie York, Prophets & Outlaws, The Tejas Brothers and many more.
