In the Inland Empire, blood bank officials say that a combination of the busy holiday season, supply-chain issues, widespread sickness and bad winter weather has led to a critically low blood shortage.

Here’s where and how you can give blood at donor centers and mobile drives across the region.

Officials recommend checking with each blood bank about eligibility and the requirements to donate. They welcome appointments and walk-ins.

LifeStream community blood drives give donors a LifeStream Quarter Zip Pullover while supplies last, and a free mini-physical that includes readings for blood pressure, pulse, cholesterol levels, iron level and temperature.
