Gary Clifford Smith — Three Miles Plains

It is with deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Gary Clifford Smith, age 74, in Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born in Windsor on March 8, 1948, he was the son of Gilbert and Harriett "Haddie" (Barker) Smith. Gary started working at a young age for Sobeys and retired from that company at the age of 54. He is survived by his wife, Carol (Stevens) Hale; son, Adrian Moore, Windsor; daughter, Kathleen Campbell, Ottawa; stepson, Andrew Hale, Ottawa; stepdaughter, Sara Boudreau, Brampton, ON; granddaughter, Dolores Moore; step-grandchildren, Robert and Katherine Hale, Ottawa; Charlie and Max Boudreau, Brampton, ON; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his parents, Gary was predeceased by sisters, Diane (in infancy) and Heather Fletcher. The family will receive visitors on Saturday, February 4 from 3-5 p.m. in the funeral home’s Elmcroft Reception Centre (masks are encouraged).
