A man was fatally shot Saturday night inside a restaurant in the 3300 block of Rainier Avenue South.

Seattle police say the man died after being shot inside Rainier Teriyaki restaurant. Police did not provide information on whether the man killed might have worked at the restaurant or been a customer.

At about 8:30 p.m., according to police, “multiple suspects” entered the restaurant and shot the man in the chest. Police did not provide information on the number of suspects, and no arrests had been made as of late Saturday.

The shooting drew police Chief Adrian Diaz to the scene.

The killing occurred during what has become an especially violent weekend in Seattle.

Three men were wounded about 12:30 a.m. Saturday by gunfire in the popular nightlife area around 900 East Pike Street. Their injuries were not considered life-threatening, according to police.

On Saturday night, before 7 p.m., gunshots were fired from a vehicle in the 3900 block of South Warsaw Street, leaving one person with a graze wound to the head. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center.

That shooting, near the New Holly neighborhood, led to a brief power outage for nearly 8,000 Seattle City Light customers. The male victim, who was in his vehicle, drove off to try to escape further injury and crashed into a power pole. But the power had been cut when gunshots hit electrical equipment, according to police and City Light.
